Living Classroom is a fun and engaging way for Docents to connect with students and the greater community in school gardens. Our lessons are well developed and carefully planned. We provide in-person and apprentice-style training opportunities to docents. Docents can choose whether to assist or lead lessons independently after training. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Kim (kimr@living-classroom.org) or Susan (Susanh@living-classroom.org).

ULISTAC NATURAL AREA TOUR Monday, November 6th, 10:00 AM - Noon 4901 Lick Mill Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95054
Please join us and our Los Altos Living Classroom colleagues on Monday, November 6th from 10:00 AM - Noon for a guided tour of the Ulistac Natural Area in Santa Clara. The Ulistac Natural Area is the only dedicated natural open space in the City of Santa Clara and is a regional and cultural resource for all. People from all over the region come to enjoy the diverse California native plant habitats and the ecosystems they support while walking, jogging, taking photographs, bicycling, bird watching, and just finding a serene respite from their busy lives. Please RSVP to Susan or Kim if you plan to join us for the tour. Also, please indicate if you're interested in forming a carpool from Mountain View, which would depart at 9:30 AM, or if you'd prefer meeting us at the site.
